Title: The Poor Prince's Smile

Summary: The world is full of surprises and fate sometime play with people. Junno is a poor boy with nothing and yet he manages to smile everyday even when life comes to its worst. Ueda is from a wealthy family, who can have anything he ever dream of and yet he had lost his own smile; his happiness to his status. Soon fate will let these two meet, but would they believe they were meant to be? Is there such a thing as fate, or destiny? Only those who truly believe will know, because it brought them together.
A.N: okay, when I said I was going to update every Wed., it was just a warning, if I don’t post on Tues. then await it on Wed., yep, that was what I meant -_-? ANYWAYS… this chapter is mostly about Yui (I think) the truth reveal and stuff… still no progress in the JunDa, TaNaka or Akame relationship, I know, I’m so slow, but please bare with this slow idiot… I know what I want, it just that it’s taking a while to get what I want… *sigh*

“Again in that room, that dark dim room, why were the curtains pull down!? It’s supposed to be morning! Isn’t this a job for the maids!?” Junno thought as Ueda pulled Junno into Ueda’s room. As they entered, Ueda’s grip loosens until it finally let go. Junno watched Ueda by the side without saying anything as Ueda closed the door and walked into the center of the room.
Junno wasn’t sure what to say or do… why was he even there? That was when Ueda started taking off his shirt, making Junno suddenly back up toward the wall.
“What’s going on here? Why is Ueda taking off his shirt? Is it for my punishment?! IS HE GONNA~!?” Junno thought quickly turned blank as he watched eyes wide open.
The light that press through the opening of the window curtain glimmer as it reached Ueda’s bare back, making Junno’s mouth dropped, a drop of green tea from Ueda’s wet hair dripped down his neckline and slowly down his chest, making Junno gulped hard. That was when Ueda looked up, making Junno look away quickly, still back to wall.
“W-why am I here?” Junno manage to ask, trying hard not to look at Ueda, he felt his face burning up. Ueda slowly walked up to Junno, Junno could feel Ueda’s breath and his stare cutting through Junno like a hot knife cutting butter. Junno try hard not to look into Ueda’s eyes, so he closed his eyes tightly. “What is he gonna do? …why is he so close?…A KISS!? MY VIRGIN LIPS!!!” Junno started thinking, his mind going wild.
Suddenly Ueda shoved something to Junno’s, making him open his eyes, he was holding Ueda’s wet shirt.
“Wash it.” Ueda said as he walked away.
“Huh?”
“And these too,” Ueda said as he tossed Junno his clothes from that morning that was cover in juice, “Now if you excuse me, I’m going to take a shower,” and with that said, he entered the bathroom.
Junno stood there for a minute in a blank state of mind, he finally remember where he was and rushed out of the room with the clothes in hand, “What is wrong with me? This is the second time I jumped to perverted conclusion… well at least I didn’t scream anything embarrassing this time… I should stop thinking like this…” he thought as he looked down at the clothes. “*sigh* where am I suppose to wash these?” Junno groaned.

Yui furiously slumped down in the backseat of her limo, “Ugh! It’s all that stupid Taguchi fault! If Ueda didn’t get green tea poured all over him, he would had took me home and I would I persuade him to take me out to lunch! UGH! And that stupid head maid! Did you see him! He was all smiling-smiling when I left! WHY DID YOU COME AND PICK ME UP!? YOU COULD HAD GIVEN AN EXCUSE! STUPID! ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING!!” screamed Yui at her driver.
“hai!” he replied.
“Ugh! And Maru… what kind of idiot leaves their lovely cousin behind … he’s going to get it later…” murmured Yui as they reached her home. As she reached the entrance, her mother ran over to greet her.
“Honey, welcome back! So how is Yuichi-kun? And Mr. Ueda?” asked Yui’s mother.
“Shut up! I’m going to change!” yelled Yui as she walked away, that was when her mother noticed the burn mark.
“Honey, are you still messing with Yuichi-kun? You know how he feel about that mark, you should just tell him you got surgery and that, that mark is already gone. Why do you keep putting on that fake burn mark?” asked her mother as she starts following Yui.
“Shut up mom! You don’t understand! You better not say anything to Maru or his family or… or I’ll run away from home! So shut up!” yelled Yui as she ran up the stair.
Yui’s mother sighed, “Poor Yuichi-kun.”
Yui slammed the door as she entered her room, she looked at her back in the mirror and pulled out the fake burn skin, “You don’t understand anything mother…” she whispered as she held the fake skin in her hands.
*********11 years ago*********
“MARU! LET ME PLAY!” screamed the 9-years-old Yui.
10-years-old Maru and Ueda looked up at her, and walked away, carrying the fireworks, “Yui, go home! We don’t want you here! You just mess things up!” yelled Maru as he pushed Yui.
Ueda only glanced at her and looked away, making her furious, that was when she ran to Maru and pushed him, making him fall. “You’re taking all my precious Ueda’s time!” she screamed, as she glanced back at Ueda to see if he was watching, but all he did was lit up a firework, suddenly without noticing, Maru pushed her hard, making her fall backward toward the firework, which was setting off.
Before anyone knew it, Yui was screaming and crying in pain on the ground covering her face as the firework finally die down. The maids, guards, everyone came running to Yui’s aid, Maru watched as the world around him seem to be going at the speed of light, he didn’t know what to do, his body was paralyzed, he couldn’t move, his mind told him to check up on Yui but he was too scare to move. Suddenly his mother grabbed him and started yelling, but he couldn’t understand anything his mother was saying, he was shock… it all felt like a dream, Maru glanced and saw Ueda, but Ueda looked as if he wasn’t even worry, that boy remain the puppet that he was.
The ambulance came and took Yui away. The Nakamarus and Yui’s parents waited patiently in the lobby to hear the news, Ueda had left home so he was nowhere to be seen in the hospital.
That was when the doctor stepped out, “It’s seem she’ll be alright, but she got a terrible burn on her back… you can go see her now.” before they all knew it Maru ran to the room as fast as he can, while Yui’s parents talked with the doctor and the Nakamarus were comforting them.
As Maru reached the room, he felt his body getting heavy, the room was so dim, and there sat the depress Yui.
“Y-Yui… Are you…okay?” asked Maru as he felt the tear approached in his eyes.
“Go away…” whispered Yui.
“…I’m sorry…” said Maru as a tear fell.
“GO AWAY!!” screamed Yui.
“I’m so sorry…” said Maru as tears started to fall.
“I SAID GO AWAY!! DON’T LOOK AT ME!! DON’T LOOK AT ME!! I’M UGLY NOW!! I’M UGLY!!! HOW AM I GOING TO MARRY UEDA LIKE THIS!!!” screamed Yui as she covered her face and clasp herself, crying.
Maru ran up to her and held on to her, “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry!”
“GET AWAY FROM ME!” Yui screamed from under her arms.
“I’m sorry! I’ll help you! I’ll help make Ueda marry you! I’ll help you!” yelled Maru as he covered his crying face in Yui shoulder, still holding on to her. That was when Yui looked up, her face was wet from crying and smudging her tears all over her face. But she watched at Maru cried and apologized in her shoulder.
She sniffed, “Y-you promise?…” she sniveled, Maru nodded, still burying his face, “Y-you pinky promise?…”
Maru looked up, his eyes and nose redden, he sob, “I promise… sniff… I pinky promise, as long as that mark stay on you…sniff… I’ll help you to the very end…” he said as he held up his own pinky, she pinky-swear…afterward Maru would often visit her and get her whatever she wishes, he even got Ueda to come and visited. Yui started liking this attention…
Of course who in their right mind would keep a scar for long, she was still young and still need to be beautiful, so as soon as Maru went out of the country for a vacation, she got surgery. Like any 10-year-old, Maru actually didn’t meant to say ’as long as that mark stay on you’, he meant he help her to the very end, but as the years pass, Yui kept those words to heart, because she fear that one day Maru would use the words against her, and with that conclusion, she made a fake skin. Yui always wore it whenever she was with Maru or Ueda, but whenever she went clubbing, certainly she love the attention she gets from guys, so that fake skin might ruin it, so she always take it off. No one knew anything about this accept her parents.
She was surly nasty…

“Ah-hah!” yelled Maru as he printed the paper out and started dialing his cell phone number.
… after the sixth ring, or what seem to be forever to Maru, Koki finally pick up, “Uh…moshi moshi?”
Maru couldn’t help but crack up, “Heh! Don’t worry, no one is going to call but me. I already changed that cell phone’s phone number, so only I know that number.”
“Uh… Fine then! What do you want anyways!” yelled Koki, trying to cover up his embarrassment with anger.
“I got some results!” said Maru as he smiled at his own cleverness.
“Huh? Really!?” yelled Koki, Maru could hear his excitement, he snicker to himself, he couldn’t help but thought that this guy was so obvious and cute…
“wait a minute… cute!? What am I thinking…” thought Maru to himself.
“HEY! ARE YOU LYING TO ME!!?” yelled Koki from the other line making Maru jump.
“N-no! Why would I?!” yelled Maru back, “What the hell was I thinking?” he thought.
“So where’s this Ueda then!?” Koki howled.
“If you’ll stop yelling, I’ll tell you…” Maru finally said, as he rubbed his eardrum.
“… fine then, so where’s this Ueda?” Koki finally asked in a normal voice.
“Well you see, I actually found a couple of results…”
“WHA-!… I mean, then how am I suppose to find Junno?” asked Koki, trying hard not to yell.
“hmm… I’ll help you with that! Tomorrow! Meet me at the Centro Park, you do know where it is, right?” asked Maru.
“Of course fool, I’m not that slow! But are we going to look for all the Uedas?” Koki asked.
“…no… we just going to look for those who own bars… from what you describe, this ’Ueda’ might own a hostess bar, and if you narrow it down…” Maru started explaining.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever! Meet you tomorrow then, under the clock tower?” asked Koki.
Maru smiled, “Sure.” and with that Koki said his good bye leaving Maru still on the line, smiling to himself. He finally realized what he was doing and put down the phone. Rubbing his eyes, he sighed, “I been working too hard…” he murmured as he turned away from the computer.
Koki smiled excitedly as he closed the phone, “Junno, just you wait! Your prince in shiny armors is gonna come save you!” he yelled, as the boss looked over at him, making him look away, still smiling to himself excitedly.
“Prince in shiny armor?” the boss thought to himself not daring to ruin Koki’s happy mood.

“WOAH!” yelled Jin as he ran over to Junno grabbing the falling cups, “What is wrong with you? Didn’t you use to be a waiter? How can you not balance anything on the tray!”
“I only showed people to their seats and took orders…” murmured Junno, with puppy eyes.
“*sigh* okay… try again…” Jin said as he placed the cups on the tray again.
Jin had been trying to teach Junno all afternoon. After lunch, Ueda went back to his room and had not come out since, it was the perfect time to teach Junno the basic… but did Junno even know the basic?! Jin was making Junno walk in a straight line while carrying a tray of ’drinks’, so far, no progress.
Junno collapse into the ground, Jin slouched next to him, “I think this is a good time to tell you something.” said Junno as he looked at Jin. Jin huffed and looked at Junno with a what-look, “Uh… you know those clothes that Ueda asked me to wash…”
“Yeah… go on…” Jin said, sitting up.
“You see… I try washing it in the tub and…”
“You washed it in the tub? Why not the washing machine?”
“There’s a washing machine here?!” yelled Junno.
“Duh… wait… what did you do to the clothes…?” Jin said looking seriously at Junno.
“Uh… you see… I try washing it by hand and I… kinda got angry… and I…. PLEASE DON’T KILL ME!!” yelled Junno as he prayed at Jin.
“What did you do?” whisper Jin in a deadly voice.
Junno looked away and closed his eyes tightly, “I… washed too hard…ANDNOWTHERE’SHOLESANDRIPSINIT!” yelled Junno as fast as he can, hoping Jin didn’t hear him.
“YOU PUT HOLES IN THE YOUNG MASTER’S CLOTHING!?” yelled Jin, eyes wide open, Junno nodded, eyes still shut tightly. “YOU! Y-” suddenly he sighed, “You’re useless…”
“It was a accident! I swear!” yelled Junno as he realized that Jin hasn’t kill him yet.
“You better inform the young master as soon as possible…” Jin sighed out.
“I… was hoping you’ll go tell him…” mumbled Junno as he started playing with his thumbs.
“ME!? ME?!!” yelled Jin, suddenly he sighed again, “You are going to tell him, after dinner, you better tell him.” Junno nodded with a sad puppy eyes, but Junno been noticing, how come Jin keep on sighing? Why was Jin so down? He didn‘t want to ask… but Junno was starting to worry. What Junno didn’t know was the reason Jin was like this was because his lack of trust in Kame, since that morning, Jin hasn’t seen Kame all day, he tried hard not to show it, but he was depress. “Now… let’s get back to your lessens…” said Jin, “Even if I’m certain you’re not gonna improve…” he thought, looking away. “Wait a minute! Grandma!” Jin suddenly yelled as he lightens up.
“Grandma?” repeated Junno.
“Are you seeing your dead grandma? Have you finally gone insane?” Junno asked, with Jin replying with a slap in the head, “WHO SAY MY GRANDMA IS DEAD!?” yelled Jin.
“Then what does your alive grandma have to do with any of this?” mumbled Junno, but Jin only reply with another slap and a smile.

After lunch, Ueda went back to his room and had not come out since, it was the perfect time to teach Junno the basic… but did Junno even know the basic?! Jin was making Junno walk in a straight line while carrying a tray of ’drinks’, so far, no progress.
Junno collapse into the ground, Jin slouched next to him, “I think this is a good time to tell you something.” said Junno as he looked at Jin. Jin huffed and looked at Junno with a what-look, “Uh… you know those clothes that Ueda asked me to wash…”
“Yeah… go on…” Jin said, sitting up.
“You see… I try washing it in the tub and…”
“You washed it in the tub? Why not the washing machine?”
“There’s a washing machine here?!” yelled Junno.
“Duh… wait… what did you do to the clothes…?” Jin said looking seriously at Junno.
“Uh… you see… I try washing it by hand and I… kinda got angry… and I…. PLEASE DON’T KILL ME!!” yelled Junno as he prayed at Jin.
“What did you do?” whisper Jin in a deadly voice.
Junno looked away and closed his eyes tightly, “I… washed too hard…ANDNOWTHERE’SHOLESANDRIPSINIT!” yelled Junno as fast as he can, hoping Jin didn’t hear him.
“YOU PUT HOLES IN THE YOUNG MASTER’S CLOTHING!?” yelled Jin, eyes wide open, Junno nodded, eyes still shut tightly. “YOU! Y-” suddenly he sighed, “You’re useless…”
“It was a accident! I swear!” yelled Junno as he realized that Jin hasn’t kill him yet.
“You better inform the young master as soon as possible…” Jin sighed out.
“I… was hoping you’ll go tell him…” mumbled Junno as he started playing with his thumbs.
“ME!? ME?!!” yelled Jin, suddenly he sighed again, “You are going to tell him, after dinner, you better tell him.” Junno nodded with a sad puppy eyes, but Junno been noticing, how come Jin keep on sighing? Why was Jin so down? He didn‘t want to ask… but Junno was starting to worry. What Junno didn’t know was the reason Jin was like this was because his lack of trust in Kame, since that morning, Jin hasn’t seen Kame all day, he tried hard not to show it, but he was depress. “Now… let’s get back to your lessens…” said Jin, “Even if I’m certain you’re not gonna improve…” he thought, looking away. “Wait a minute! Grandma!” Jin suddenly yelled as he lightens up.
“Grandma?” repeated Junno.
“Are you seeing your dead grandma? Have you finally gone insane?” Junno asked, with Jin replying with a slap in the head, “WHO SAY MY GRANDMA IS DEAD!?” yelled Jin.
“Then what does your alive grandma have to do with any of this?” mumbled Junno, but Jin only reply with another slap and a smile.
